u3a - 30 themes of u3a eye

Our photography challenge, u3a eye, has reached it's 30th theme.

u3a eye was set up in March 2020 as a way for u3a members to get involved with photography and share their photos during the pandemic. Members are challenged to take photos meeting a particular theme and the judges then pick a selection of photos to be displayed on the u3a website.

Alison May, Head of Member Services, says,  "I am absolutely delighted that u3a eye has been such a success. It is now over a year old and we are delighted to be on our 30th theme, with over 70,000 hits on our website page. All of the previous galleries are available on the website and contain some brilliantly creative photos - well worth a look! I would encourage anyone to submit a photo, the more creative the better-good luck!”

The learning team have just launched the latest theme - 'Different Sizes' which has an extended deadline of 22 July.

See the photos for the latest u3a eye gallery, Centre, and all our previous galleries on the u3a eye page.

Submit your photos for 'Different Sizes' on our u3a eye page before 22 July.
