Psychology 2

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour. It looks at how we think, feel, and act. The word comes from Greek words meaning the study of the soul or mind. It is a broad subject with many varied and interesting branches.
This group is intended to be an informal group for amateurs/beginners interested in discussing and learning about psychology, but those with more experience/knowledge in the subject are welcome.
It will be facilitated by me, Savitri. I too am interested in psychology, but I am not an expert, and I will be learning and exploring the topic with you as a group. I have the support of our other group leader, who had previously taught psychology at secondary school level.
The sessions' format will be interactive discussions/presentations on topics of interest to the group members. Hopefully covering topics/areas you find interesting. Group members will be encouraged to contribute to leading some of the discussions.
